Designer Liong Mah of Palm Bay, FL. has been designing custom knives for many years. He made many knives and tools in collaboration originally with CRKT.
Many of his current knives are done in conjunction with David Deng of Reate Knives and include many custom features found on much more expensive knives.
Liong loves to work with Carbon Fiber and many of his knives showcase his expertise in working with this extremely versatile material.
Liong buys all of his materials in the USA and ships them to Reate to create his masterpieces.
Carbon Fiber is military grade from A&J Composites in Washington State.
Blade steel and titanium is from Specialty Metals in Texas.
Micarta is from Westinghouse (the inventors and original manufacturer of Micarta)

It has taken years to find good manufacturers to work with. My products have often been thought of as hand made-custom. There is a lot of hand work involved. Done by a team of skilled Craftsmen and Craftswomen.
Most of my blades are hand ground. Fit and finish goes beyond a custom knife.
