Kitchen Utility Folder- Three inch Blade

Combining a previous culinary career at multiple prestigious NYC restaurants and a love for Everyday Carry knives, the original Kitchen Utility Folder was a landmark piece for LMD. 

The KUF is unique as it’s one of the only folding knives on the market with a cutting edge that is lower than the handle. For 2021, we offer both a 4-inch as well as a 3-inch blade version. 

The new KUF-EDC adds a monoblock construction. Pair that with a full flat ground blade made of ELMAX steel. ELMAX is known for it’s edge retention and stainless qualities. The new KUF-EDC is a confident companion and capable all around cutting tool. 

This folding knife sports a flat grind, a flat grind makes the knife blade exceptionally sharp. This grind is perfect for pushing the entire knife into something, which is why you'll often see this grind used on chef's knives.

Comes with Liong Mah custom storage pouch, cleaning cloth and Liong Mah patch.

Nearly Perfect EDC

The KUF EDC is a nearly perfect pocket friendly every day carry knife.
The blade is a practical shape and is beautifully ground, being properly thin behind the edge. Having the edge below the handle makes using the knife a pleasure.
The monoblock handle fits my medium sized hands very well. The G10 is grippy enough, but I would like a bit more texture.
The opening hole is an odd shape. For me, a middle finger flick works best to open the blade, but, even though it is reliable, it still feels awkward.
I like the ceramic ball pocket-clip, but I would like it more if it was not as tight.
The KUF EDC is one of the very best user EDC knives I own and carry. I recommend it to anyone who wants a genuinely useful cutting tool.
