Writing a review on our own website is a bit of a conflict of interest and I've never done it before. I'm making an exception for the WE 704CF.

I'll make it short and just say it's my favorite all time knife to carry. It's light, a practical size and the action is as good as any other knife I've tried - yes including the higher end knives at US$1000 or more. Simply a superb knife.

The WE704 CF-P (I have the carbon fiber/purple ano'ed version) represents a classy, sophisticated and very refined gentleman's folder in a near perfect package very well suited to EDC carry. It is very thin and light and carrys extremely well in pocket, and you really can forget it is there.
Technically the WE704CF-P is close to perfect, beautiful fit and finish, a snappy, smooth action, great ergonomics and built using top of the line materials.

There is one one word to describe this knife - Cool.

I was looking for a slim, lightweight M390 knife for EDC use and the 704 fits the bill perfectly.

At 81 grams it's very light. The 3.6 inch M390 blade is a perfect EDC length and cuts very well. The handle fits my medium large hands perfectly. The carbon fiber on the handles extends out far enough for a great hand filling grip.

But the best part is the action. Very smooth and flips the blade out like a rocket.

When my girlfriend saw how small this knife was when folded; and flipped the blade out, she fell in love with it. Looks like I'll be buying one for her as well since she has "borrowed" my one permanently. I think it's cool - she thinks it's sexy. I tried to entice her with a few other knives including my Shirogorov Neon but she wasn't letting go of the 704.
