THE BEVY SLIP JOINT - NICK SWAN DESIGN
PLEASE NOTE - THE MODEL WITH GREEN FAT CARBON FIBER IS A SPECIAL RUN OF 25 AND WE ONLY RECEIVED A FEW.
The Bevy is a knife designed to go almost anywhere and still be an effective tool. The traditional drop point blade is the most versatile blade shape. Especially for a small knife.
The Kansept Bevy gentlemen's knife, designed by Nick Swan, is sleek and sophisticated.
It has a slip-joint mechanism compared to the lock back design of its sister model, the Wedge. Being a slip joint makes it legal in those places where locking knives are not allowed.
Many reading this will have seen the prototype of the Bevy on social media where it had no nail nick. The feedback from the knife community on that has prompted Kansept to include a good size nail nick on the blade for easier opening.
The standard case that comes with all Kansept knives is thin and tough and pocket friendly. An extra slip case is not necessary for carrying the Bevy securely in your pocket.
The knife has an old-timer, classical look similar to Old Timer, Case and Buck traditional folders, but all the wow-factor of a modern knife made with modern materials.
The Bevy is simple, but will work as hard and long as you do. A great choice as an EDC knife.
