The Tiger is another unique knife from Reate and designer Alvin Lee. (he designed the highly acclaimed T1000 knife also made by Reate)
The Tiger features a 3.75 inch M390 Tanto steel blade with a compound grind. The most unique feature on the Tiger is it has all hidden hardware. This is a feature mostly seen on expensive Custom knives. It's the second time Reate has done this feature - the first time on the Gents #9.
The size of the knife gives it an overall weight of 194 grams. It comes with either a full titanium handle with stripes or diamond texture or several types of Fat Carbon Fiber.

The Tiger is made with the same exacting attention to fit and finish and especially the blade heat treatment as all Reate knives. This knife is a very limited run - so don't miss out on this one.

This mite be my favourite Reate, I had to get two.
I am new comer to the hobby, I have popular Hinderers XM18, XM24, Eklipse full Ti. American made folders are fantastic.
However if you haven’t tried Reate Knives and want to experience high end production quality Chinese folders, Tiger would be a great start point. The fit & finish is just simply on a different level than the Hinders.
Tony personally called me to make sure everything is on track and it was delivered within 2 days. Good old fashion service! Love it. Thanks Tony, keep it up!

The Reate Tiger is an incredibly good knife.
There is absolutely no external hardware showing at all giving it a very clean look. But the action is amazingly good. Beats Shirogorov, Chris Reeves and a most other pretenders who think their actions are good.
