LIONG'S BEST KNIFE YET
Liong Mah L1 - DAMASTEEL BLADE - INTEGRAL HANDLE
The L1 – Lanny One design is a marrying of the best aspects to come from both traditional slip joints and modern materials. This Modern/Traditional blend features superior toughness and sharp cutting edge qualities associated with DAMASTEEL steel blades.
The knife’s Titanium handle has been milled from a block made up entirely of 6AL4V titanium for its lightweight strength and resistance to wear over time. The handle is intricately inlaid with Mokuti or fat carbon fiber offering an amazing finish to this functional work of art.
When designing the L1 – Lanny One, I wanted to create a blade that included everything I thought was most important in a knife.
First of all, it had to have strong and edge retaining steel – I chose Damasteel Damascus steel. Second, it needed to be lightweight – so I worked with Titanium. Finally, it had to look great and feel even better in the hand – which meant using a Nichols Mokuti Inlay or fat carbon fiber inlays depending on the model.
Flipper action, ceramic ball bearings.
