WE 2008 Roman - Alessandra De Santis design

The second knife collaboration with Alessandra de Santis and WE KNIFE. The Roman is based on dagger designs from the Roman Empire even down to the unique pommel bead on the end which can also be used as a strike weapon. Even the pattern on the handle is taken from the paving stones on roads from the Roman Empire.

This knife is a bit more modern however. Featuring a front flipper design and a long 4 inch S35VN blade and running on bearings the ROMAN is quick to deploy and its slim design is easy to fit into a pocket.

Comes in 4 colors - bronze, grey, black and flamed tiger stripe.

Flipper action, ceramic bearings, integral handle.

Super nice knife

I was lucky enough to get one of these in black. Doesn’t have a pocket clip so you will have to find a nice way to carry it. Blade is very skinny but very sharp. I love the look of the handle. Takes a few goes to master opening it but once you do it’s very addictive. Take care though as you will cut your pants/leg or seat if not careful. It’s a great addition to my collection.
